A high level security review of WordPress security.

• How people can secure their instances
• A walk through of attacking a website

Including:

• Real world examples
• What needs to be done to remediate the vulnerabilities discovered along the way.

For those who don't develop or manage websites, how to browse safely.

This talk is intended for the full spectrum of technologist from new users learning what a computer is to developers and admins.

The talk will start at 4.30pm

This month is another virtual meet during the lockdown. We are using Jitsi, you can find out more at https://jitsy.org/ and test out your setup at https://meet.jit.si/. Jitsi is an open source solution, but we are not using our own hosting. It works through a web browser, so just use the link in the list email or add plugmeet to the test URL. The password is in the list email.
